Flat Sawing & Curb Cutting
Flat Sawing
Gas Powered
Flat Sawing is used for the cutting of asphalt, concrete and reinforced concrete. Typically a 65 HP saw is used to cut to a depth of 10″, using diamond saw blades of 12″, 18″, 20″ and 24″. A section of concrete or asphalt is cut with the smallest diameter blade at first and then again with each progressive size blade. Unlike deep sawing, flat sawing uses the same width of blade for each cut. Various flat cutting saws use engine motors of 15 to 65 horse power. Some of the options of fuel source include, gas, diesel, and hydraulic, depending on application and environment.
